God is our Refuge and Strength, and very present help in trouble! Nature and society may convulse, but the Center holds—God’s city, habitation of the Most High. Let us be still and contemplate I AM, our God and Refuge. On earth, Mount Zion is at the center of God’s territory. There, we meditate on God and God’s goodness, our Guide forever!

The gates of God’s city are open; He keeps in perfect peace anyone whose mind is centered on God, and who trusts Him. I will trust in God forever, and He will make my path level and smooth. God, You are the desire of my soul and spirit. Where You are, there is justice and peace and righteousness!

From now on, our perspective will be shaped by God’s truth. If anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation; the old has passed away, the new has come. God has reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. He is not counting our trespasses against us, since Christ has borne them. So we are God’s ambassadors, through whom God makes His appeal. God made Jesus, Who knew no sin, to be sin, for our sake, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God! Let us work together with our holy God. Now is the time, today is the day of salvation.

Jesus’ own testimony: ‘I Am the Light of the world, and My followers will walk in this Light. I act and judge with the Father Who sent me.’ Only those called by God can understand and accept these words and this Savior.
