God’s throne is eternal; He reigns, robed in majesty. All creation thunders praise to God. His rule is established forever. Let all creation sing His praise and bless His name; let us tell of His salvation and declare His glory everywhere. Let us worship YHWH in holiness—let all creation rejoice in our God, Creator and Judge of all. Let angels and nature praise Him; let all humanity praise the name of the Lord. Praise Him with music and song; let all that breathe praise our God!
Imagine the glorious city of God—all corruption and evil banished, a place of beauty and peace forever, under God’s majestic rule, filled with joyous and grateful people, forgiven and filled with peace!
All God’s Scripture is true and trustworthy. And Jesus will come to us soon; blessed are all who keep His word until He comes, without adding to or subtracting from it. Come, Lord Jesus!
When it was time for Elizabeth to give birth, she brought forth the son Gabriel had promised, and she and Zechariah named him John, as God had directed. At that point, Zechariah’s tongue was loosed, and he prophesied in the Spirit: ‘Blessed be Israel’s God, the Lord, for He has visited and redeemed His people and raised up a Savior for us in David’s line, fulfilling His everlasting covenant. And you, my son John, will be called prophet of the Most High, going before the Lord to prepare His way, teaching the people knowledge of salvation and forgiveness of their sins, through God’s tender mercy. The day of light and peace is coming, and you serve as the Messiah’s herald in these things!’ And so it was.
