Devotions: Ps 37; Isa 45:5-17; Eph 5:15-33; Mk 4:21-34
Don’t fret because of the wicked; just trust God and do what is good. He will give you the righteous desire of your heart; He will vindicate you and prosper you. Forsake anger and judgment; practice forgiveness and mercy. Leave the wicked to God. Better the little that the righteous have than the apparent prosperity of many wicked ones! God establishes those who delight Him. You will never see the righteous forsaken, or their children begging for bread. God does not forsake His saints. Leave all in His hands, and you will see the wicked melt away and the righteous abide. There is a future for the godly.
There is no other god than YHWH, the LightGiver. Woe to those who strive against their Maker. All creation is in His hands; those who belong to God will prosper for eternity!
Be careful to understand and do God’s will. Be subject to one another out of respect for God; let wives respect their husbands; let husbands love and care for their wives.
Use to the utmost whatever faith God has provided. It may seem little, but God’s provision is perfect and sufficient. Just trust God and do what is good.
